Hello David,

I trust you are in good health.

Here is a truly interesting way of getting a water utility to end the unhealthy practice of water fluoridation. Proposals of legal action in the province of Québec have convinced many municipalities to abandon drinking water fluoridation. Fluoridation has no legal standing whatsoever.

I'm not proposing that something like this be done right away, however, it becomes a viable option should ordinary means of education and information about the dangers and the foolishness of water fluoridation fail to motivate and change the mindset of our health officials and elected representatives in that failed, deleterious and wasteful health measure.

I'm quite confident that you, your Partners and Associates can see some merit to the greater Ottawa community in such legal proceedings and that your firm could easily convince the City to abandon this deleterious health measure once you understand all of its ramifications: the ineffectiveness, adverse health effects, environmental impact, ethics, financial burden and legal implications are far reaching and disastrous to our community.

Metropolitan Water District of SoCal Sued for Illegal Use of an Unapproved Drug to Fulfill Fluoridation Program

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 10, 2011

Alleging willful misrepresentation and deceptive business practices by Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California, in the interest of millions of consumers, the California attorneys at Blumenthal, Nordrehaug & Bhowmik filed Foli v. Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Case No. 3:2011cv01765 in the Southern District of California.

The lawsuit cites that MWD of SoCal has made claims of safely and effectively treating and preventing dental disease in recipient consumers, while selecting and delivering a hydrofluorosilicic acid drug through their water system that has never been approved for safety and effectiveness, nor in the expected dosages delivered by MWD through retail water districts, either topically, systemically through ingestion, or trans-dermal exposures through baths and showers.

Hydrofluorosilicic acid is a drug that has also never been approved for safety and effectiveness in Canada. There are no toxicology studies or clinical trials for this drug as required by Health Canada regulations. The product, hydrofluorosilicic acid does not have a DIN number.
__________________________________________
The scientific/legal determination of safety is based on 2 types of research:
1. Animal studies (Toxicology Studies)
2. Human studies (Clinical Trials)
The actual fluoride products used in artificial water fluoridation (silicofluorides - hydrofluorosilicic acid is a silicofluoride ) have neither the required animal studies (toxicology studies) nor the required human studies (clinical trials) to determine safety.

The Supreme Court of Canada in 1957 (Metropolitan Toronto v. Forest Hill (Village), [1957] S.C.R. 569) ruled that fluoridation was a "compulsory preventive medication", which is “not to promote the ordinary use of water as a physical requisite for the body” but has a “special health purpose”. This ruling has never been contested by the Canadian Government.

Supreme Court Justice Cartwright (U.S.A.) stated: "In pith and substance the by-law relates not to the provision of a water supply but to the compulsory preventative medication of the inhabitants of the area."

Supreme Court Justice Rand (U.S.A.) stated: "But it is not to promote the ordinary use of water as a physical requisite for the body that fluoridation is proposed. That process has a distinct and different purpose; it is not a means to an end of wholesome water for water's function but to an end of a special health purpose for which water supply is made use of as a means."

What do you think?

Sincerely,

Richard Hudon, for
