Notice of Facts about Fluoridation of Public Water.

This is to advise the public about the Fluoride injected into the water supply:

1. Sourced from toxic fluoride industrial waste only, and does not meet any pharmacological criteria.
2. The principal fluoride components are synthetic (man made) silica fluorides - which have never been tested for negative impact for human consumption. These same fluorides are classified toxic, by statute.
3. These fluorides are further contaminated with varying amounts of Aluminium, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury and These fluorides are further contaminated with varying amounts of Aluminium, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury and many Radioactive NuclidesRadioactive Nuclides.
4. The science regarding the metering of 1 ppm of waste fluoride into public water as a safe and effective medication or treatment for the prevention of dental caries has been sourced from fraudulent ‘science’ papers paid for by corporate polluters; and the arbitrary (and variable) 0.7 ppm (parts per million) has been in fact - plucked out of a hat, as was its predecessor, 1 ppm, and its predecessor before that, 1.2 ppm, and the 1.4 ppm before that one.
5. Scientific papers (in their thousands) produced by ethical, independent and unfunded investigative scientists warning of extreme hazard -- have been ardently, vigorously and summarily dismissed as irrelevant and many of these researchers and scientists have been maligned, vilified and defamed out of their careers. 6. Governments also declare scientific safeguards and precautionary principles irrelevant in the case of fluoridation.
7. Governments declare themselves infallible with regards to stated water fluoridation ‘safety and benefit.'
8. Government, following self assessed infallibility, has indemnified itself and its servants from lawsuit with regards to any and all harm to the public arising from water fluoridation: and indemnifies also the corporations supplying and metering such waste toxic compounds (fluoride alone sits between lead and arsenic on a chemical toxicity scale) into the public water supplies.
9. In the U.S.A. – where this Crime against Humanity was instigated – fluoridated toothpaste must now carry a Poison Hazard warning; and some Water Tax bills to the paying consumer now carry hazard information regarding children and the consumption of fluoridated water. But not so in Canada!
10. Fluoride is imposed upon the whole population, and you are totally and deliberately disenfranchised; no freedom of choice either – but don't be concerned... because you are fortunate enough to be living in a Democracy?

Ottawa Needs To End Fluoridation
Every time you drink a glass of Ottawa tap water as well as every gulp of any beverage and every bite of food prepared with tap water that you swallow, you are being medicated with fluoride from Ottawa’s tap water: no medical oversight, no follow up for side effects. You expose your skin to it whenever you wash.
How many people have already had their health affected from this medical cover-up (cancers, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, DNA harm, thyroid problems, dental fluorosis, kidney failure, heart attacks, lowered IQ, fertility problems, etc)? Look here: http://slweb.org/ for proof of harm?
Councillors are actually the ones in charge of the decision to fluoridate or not and are the only ones who will be held personally accountable under the law for choosing a chemical with contaminants AND carry the LIABILITY for the decision to keep adding it: this came into effect on January 1, 2013. http://ffo-olf.org/ - http://cof-cof.ca - http://fluoridealert.org/

Please write to your Councillor. Ask to get the city to stop adding this toxic waste into our water.
It's wasteful, irresponsible, gives you tooth medicine without your consent and it doesn't even work.

FACTS:
Countries that fluoridate their drinking water are in a tiny minority, as only 5.7% of the planet fluoridates – mostly Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland
Most of Europe does not and in many countries fluoride is banned
Fluoride is more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic
5 mg of fluoride is a lethal adult dose
No disease has ever been linked to a fluoride deficiency
There are more than 180 Symptoms of Fluoride Poisoning
(They say it is cost-effective and only costs less than $1 per person per year)
For that $1 per person per year - we who fluoridate, fluoridate 100% of the water treated, to ingest - for claimed dental benefit - approximately 0.3%, while 99.7% of the fluoride we buy and put through our pipes and lands goes directly to our environment and receiving waters
It is extremely difficult and expensive to remove fluoride from the environment and , in the vast majority of cases, wastewater and water treatments cannot currently remove it , so there is no exit and it accumulates
As Canadians , this $1 per person contributes to us putting almost ONE MILLION kg of fluoride to the environment each year , an environment that for the most part had very little fluoride in it before
We've been doing this for over 40 years
Inadvertently , we pay to pollute our receiving waters with this toxic, extremely difficult to remove toxin
Can this toxin possibly fail to kill the lowest forms of life in our receiving waters upon which all higher forms of life are based? Are we willing to gamble this?
Are we environmental stewards, or can we disregard our precious water resource s?
What is more Canadian? Do we count our Blessings, or curse them?

For Your Sake and the Sake of Your Family - Send a Clear Message To Ottawa City Council.

STOP FLUORIDATING MY WATER! Water Fluoridation Is Full of Risks and Makes No Sense:

• The fluoride chemical the city is putting in your water is an industrial toxic waste product of phosphate mining for the fertilizer industry, containing Silicofluoride, Arsenic, Lead, Mercury, Uranium238, and a host of others.
• Approximately 200 metric tonnes of this toxic waste is dumped into your water supply each year.

With less than 1% of your water supply being used for actual drinking, the rest goes straight into polluting the Ottawa river and harming every user downstream.
• Swallowing fluoride provides no benefit to dental caries prevention. It's a waste of money.
• Your toothpaste tube (or box) advises you not to swallow, because fluoride can poison you .
• Fluoride causes health harm (brain, bones, kidneys, thyroid, and, yes, even teeth).
• Fluoride is not a nutrient. In fact, it powerfully interferes with the action of essential nutrients such as iron, selenium, iodine, calcium, magnesium, and vitamins D, E, and C and over 50 enzymes.
• Fluoride is added to your drinking water in an attempt to treat you for dental cavities. Therefore, it is a drug, so it would require your individual, informed consent
• Fluoride is a drug and should therefore be prescribed by a doctor , not by your neighbour by referendum or your Councillor. The only sane thing they can vote for is ending the practice.

Email or Call your Mayor and Councillors, and ask them to NOT FLUORIDATE your water. Ask City Council to spend your hard earned tax dollars addressing the causes of dental caries, with measures that make more sense and are not as risky:
• Offer and promote dental hygiene education.
• Offer and promote nutrition education.
• Offer and promote healthy food programs.
• Inform Ottawans about, and help those who qualify to become part of, the provincial Healthy Smiles program.

To add an EPA banned contaminant into the water after it's been purified on the pretext that it is tooth medicine is irresponsible, foolish and dangerous because there is no proof that it works as claimed.

Write to your Councillor and the Mayor and ask that they stop putting this contaminant in your tap water.

Fluoride is not an approved drug, nutrient or water additive

Comparing fluoride to chlorine is nonsensical since it does not clean or purify our water supply.

Fluoride is the only chemical added to our public water for the purpose of medicating us. It's neither a nutrient nor an approved or regulated drug. Worse, it's an industrial toxic waste.

Even the Centers for Disease Control and dental associations agree that fluoride works topically, that is, on the surface of your teeth. So, why do we need to be ingesting it. This is like swallowing sunscreen to prevent sunburn.

It is a fact that early in 2012, the Windsor Utilities Commission's chief operating officer, John Stuart, confirmed that the water fluoridation product hydrofluorosilicic acid ( HFSA ) is indeed an industrial toxic waste of the phosphate fertilizer industry, and yet, it's a fluoride compound.

However, it has never been tested for safety and is illegal to dump anywhere in the environment, yet it can be dumped in our water supply!

Fluoride is a known thyroid inhibitor. There is overwhelming, solid evidence of its connection to skeletal and dental fluorosis, lowered IQ, Alzheimer's, bone cancer and hip fractures in the elderly. It also pollutes our environment, affecting many innocent plant and animal species.

There has been a decline in tooth decay everywhere, in fluoridated and in non-fluoridated areas alike, regardless of this outdated practice.

More than 50% of Canada and the majority of the world do not fluoridate their water.

Several countries in Europe have even banned the import of goods made with fluoridated water.

Those favoring ending artificial water fluoridation are not a fringe group. They include 14 Nobel Prize winners, the Green Party of Canada, the Sierra Club, the Council of Canadians, the International Chiropractors Association, UNICEF, the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment and many more.
